Upcoming Training Program:
2012 Significant Code Changes

The goal of this seminar is for participants to apply the
2012 IRC & IBC Code changes and methods in order to
increase the efficient use of our adopted codes and to
better understand code enforcement within a municipality.

Attached are pictures of the seminar held in Rosenberg
Texas August 14-15, 2013. The two day seminar was a
great success thanks to our members, contractors, private
inspection firms, and Architects that attended our classes.
Please continue to visit our web site for future seminars,
and monthly meetings.

Up coming monthly meetings will be on new products like
Smart Vent (Foundation Flood Vents), OSHA involvement
in residential construction, and State Plumbing Board
rules on Fire Sprinkler inspections and who is
responsible/certifided to conduct those inspections.

Once again, I want to thank all of those that took part in our
2013 Seminar and look forward to bringing other
educational classes to you in the future.

Brazos Valley Chapter also had three Cross Connection
Presentations conducted by Texas State Board of
Plumbing Examiners in the month of July. The
presentations were conducted in the City of Spring Valley
Village, Tomball, and Sugar Land. Each site had a great
turn out as some of the dates where focused on
residence, plumbing contractors, and city staff public work
employees participation. TSBPE came in with a full staff of
examiners, field inspectors, and made an excellent
presentation and participated in questions and answers
after each presentation.
